Hawkins County Courthouse is downtown Rogersville.
Hawkins County officials are almost ready to move back into their newly-renovated courthouse.
Final touches are being put on the building, and furniture is being installed.
The project has taken nearly a year and has cost about $2 million.
The courthouse is the oldest in Tennessee, built in 1836.
Workers are keeping much of the original structure intact, and are preserving the building's historical integrity.
Part of the renovation also made the entire building ADA compliant.
The final move into the courthouse is expected to be in the next three to four weeks.
