Six days after the fire started, firefighters have reopened all roads near Shamrock Organic Products where the mulch facility fire has been burning since last Sunday.

Crews opened both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Middlebrook Pike between Proctor and 21st Street Saturday.

The Sutherland Avenue ramps to Middlebrook Pike are also open.

Last Sunday, firefighters shut down roads near the mulch facility.

Dense smoke made visibility tough for drivers.

The smoke has died down, but firefighters are still dealing with hot spots.

City dump trucks hauled brush piles away to thin out mulch piles Saturday.

The Knoxville Fire Department says waterflow to the facility has been reduced considerably.
