After nearly two years of work, Opry Mills in Nashville is set to re-open this week.

Stores and restaurants inside the complex are preparing to welcome back customers on Thursday.

Among other things, the new Opry Mills will have a Banana Republic outlet.

The stores have been closed since the devastating flood hit Nashville back in May of 2010.

The mall sits on the banks of the Cumberland River and the flood dumped as much as 10 feet of water in some places.

In all, the storm did more than $1 billion worth of damage to homes and businesses through Nashville.
