The Home Federal Bank on Oak Ridge Highway was robbed Wednesday morning by a man who claimed to have a bomb.
According to witnesses, the suspect entered the bank at approximately
10:35 am demanding money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, between
6-foot and 6-foot-2, and weighing approximately 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans with a dark colored,
pullover hoodie and also had a dark-colored, possibly camouflage
patterned, piece of material covering his face.
After taking an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene in a black, Ford Taurus believed to be a late 90s to early 2000s model.
