Four Hawkins County residents are facing multiple drug-related charges following a meth bust in Rogersville.

The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office says their investigation started at the Quality Inn Motel on Highway 11W in Rogersville.

Deputies say 63-year-old Jerry Richard Whitt rented a room at the hotel, where they later found drug paraphernalia inside.

While they were in Whitt's room, two women stopped by with meth and Xanax pills.

They have been identified as 28-year-old Misty Nichole Burns-Pearson and 31-year-old Jamie Lee Blair.

Officials say Pearson told them she bought pseudo-ephedrine from 30-year-old Nicholas Vincent Matroni, also known as "Mississippi."

Police tracked down Matroni and arrested him at his home in Mooresburg.

They are facing charges for multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges.
