Kick-off Luncheon

Volunteers and Champions for the Cause will officially kick off the Knoxville Alzheimer's WALK at Noon on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Volunteers who plan to organize WALK Teams at area companies, churches, and organizations will learn more about plans for the Knoxville Alzheimer's WALK on Saturday, April 14, 2012.
This year Lady Vols Basketball Coach Pat Summitt will join legendary UT Football Coach Phillip Fulmer as a 2012 Honorary WALK Chairperson.
Team Captains, the volunteer leaders who motivate co-workers, friends, and family team members, are invited for lunch and to pick up tools and tips for successful FUNdraising. Anyone can start a team, which may also be an opportunity to honor those who have been touched by Alzheimer's disease.
