WBIR Channel 10 sets aside time for Public Service Announcements (or PSAs) so non-profit agencies can communicate their messages free of charge. Since serving East Tennessee is our primary goal, WBIR strives to air Public Service Announcements that speak to the needs and interests of our entire viewing area. Before you contact WBIR concerning your non-profit message, consider the following:

Don’t Drop In – We might be in a meeting, trying to help someone else, and we’d rather not keep you waiting. Your best bet is to contact the Community Relations Department at (865) 544-3251. If we’re not immediately available, we’ll be glad to call you back.
WBIR’s approach to Public Service is simple. We’re neighbors helping neighbors and our services are free of charge. While WBIR would like to sponsor every event that is submitted to us, it is impossible to be everywhere at once. This website will help expedite the approval process and help us serve the community in a more efficient and speedy manner. If previous commitments prevent WBIR from sponsoring your event or organization, we will try to help you promote your event, organization or campaign as much as we can.
Starting June 1, 2009, all interested parties looking for WBIR sponsorship are required to fill out this form. We would also like to know how you will be able to publicize our participation. This would include logo placement, booth space, print ads, etc. If WBIR-TV sponsors your event, no other television stations can participate. The station sponsorship form must be in our hands at least 3 months ahead of the event and should be sent directly to WBIR-TV’s Community Relations Director, Julie Morris.
